You’ll also need the following Materials

The sizes of the parts of the cabinet will solely depend on how large you want your cabinet to be. Also, measure the size of the area where you’re going to place it so it will properly fit in.

Step 1

Cut the pieces of plywood to their corresponding measurements using a Table Saw. Start with the bottom, top, side, and back parts. Proceed to drill pocket holes on each part of the cabinet to indicate where you’re going to place the assembly and mounting screws later.

Step 2

Assemble the back, side, and bottom parts of the cabinet together by using pocket hole screws on the holes that you’ve drilled earlier. You can use wood glue to make the assembly more secure and prevent it from damaging.

Step 3

Add a non-functioning door on the right side of the cabinet by drilling two pocket holes in the bottom and right panels. You’ll need this to add more support to your cabinet so make sure its pocket screws are fitted tight.

Step 4

Attach the cabinet to the wall with the help of a friend. Find the studs inside your wall and mark them out so your cabinet will have a strong mount. Then use the wood screws to attach the cabinet into the wall.

Note: Be sure to measure your desired elevation before mounting your cabinet.

Step 5

Proceed to install the dividers on the left and right sides of the shelf. Create markings in the cabinet where it’s divided into three sides and then install the divider by drilling in pocket holes for the pocket screws. Add wood glue to create a much more secure divider and to add additional support.

Step 6

On the left and right sides of the cabinet, you can also add an optional top shelf in them to add additional space. Find a reference like a bucket to know how much space you need for the bottom shelf. Mark it, and install the top shelf by also using pocket screws and wood glue.

Step 7

On the left and right sides of the cabinet, you can also add an optional top shelf in them to add additional space. Find a reference like a bucket to know how much space you need for the bottom shelf. Mark it, and install the top shelf by also using pocket screws and wood glue.

Step 8

Proceed to install the top piece of the cabinet by drilling pocket holes in the sides so you can install the pocket screws through the side pieces of the cabinet. You can also use the nail gun to make it more secure.

Step 9

Measure the length and width of the three divided cabinets and use these measurements to cut three doors. Drill holes into these doors where you’re going to install the hinges.

Since this type of cabinet, we’re installing doesn’t have a front frame, you will need to use frameless hinges to attach it.

Step 10

The door hinges have instructions with them on how to adjust them. Make sure these hinges have the proper adjustment so it’s able to create a gap to help it properly open.

Now accurately mark the area where you are going to attach the screws of the door hinges to the frame. Then use a nail to make a small hole on these markings so you can proceed on installing the door hinges to the frame.

Step 11

Once the doors are installed, proceed to assemble the door handles by marking each door to where you want to place them. Use the drill to create holes on those markings and screw the handles in place on the cabinet.

Step 12

Asses the cabinet if there are not any loose pieces so you can tighten them up properly. Then inspect every area to see if everything is in place and is properly installed.

You can then go and place everything you want to store in your cabinet to finish your DIY project,
